Occupation - Leader ------------------- (-1) Property: A Source Of Strength - You may expend two points of any attribute to cause one of your followers to instantly Recover a point of that attribute. (-2) Attack: Forward! To Victory! (Body) - Each other person on your side of the combat may use a Body Attack on one of your enemies, in an order that you dictate. No enemy may have more than one Attack used on him/her, so some of your allies may not be able to use an Attack. You must dictate order without input from your allies; if a person does not possess a Body Attack, he/she simply passes. (-2) Ability: Inspiring Oration [mind] (No Challenge) - Social. After giving a speech of significant length on a topic of your choice, up to (your score for this ability) people who listened to it receive one "floating" attribute point which may only be used to increase their (or another's) challenge total in a challenge directly related to the topic of your speech. May only be used once per speech, and a person may only have one such "floating" point of any kind at a time. (-1 per use) One Use: Get Up, Damn You [one use] (No Challenge) - The target, who may not be yourself, may ignore (for the rest of the session) all effects that have so far been imposed on him/her that would directly prevent him/her from aiding you in something that you are trying to do. This can even keep a person from dying immediately, if you are there when he/she is killed. (-1) Recovery: Splendid Assistance - Whenever at least one of your followers helps you win a combat by contributing to your total, Recover a point of Body. (-1 per level) Influence: Followers (-2) Modifier: Followers -> Be Strong - You may expend a point of Influence: Followers to allow one of your followers to Recover two points in any combination of attributes. (1*) Flaw: I'm A Leader, Not A Follower - Whenever you do something that someone else commands you to do, whether willingly or otherwise, you lose a point of Soul if you have one. --- -1 CP or 1* to continue past this point --- (-1 per level) Property: Commanding Presence - You are at a bonus equal to your level of Commanding Presence in any Ability challenge in which you are trying to command someone to do something. (-2) Attack: Assist Me (Mind) - The target must help you as he/she is able in any one specified endeavor. This lasts one hour, and may not be used on the same person twice in a session. For this duration, the person is considered to be one of your followers. (-2) Ability: I Insist [body] (Body vs. Mind Challenge) - Social. If successful, the target must follow one order that you give him/her, although this will not cause the target to do anything that runs directly against one of his/her Motivations. Lasts for the remainder of the session. Once per person per session. (-1 per use) One Use: Join The Team [one use] (Requires Initiated Soul Combat) - When the target has been defeated in Soul combat that was initiated by you or one of your subordinates, you may activate this Ability instead of using a normal Attack. If the target does not have the "Victorian" or "Machine" Trait, he/she gains this Trait (which one depends on which side you are recruiting him/her to). Additionally, he/she must replace a Motivation of his/her choice with one of your own that you give him/her. (-1) Recovery: Burgeoning Ranks - When someone joins your cause or commits to following your orders, Recover a point of each attribute. Once per person ever. (-1 per level) Influence: Command (-2) Command -> Who's In Charge Here? - You may expend a point of Influence: Command to force a player to tell you whom (if anyone) his/her character considers his/her direct superior. (2*) Flaw: Chain Of Command - You have your place in a hierarchy, which (for whatever reason) you may not deviate from. Perhaps a threat hangs over your head, or something has been done to you to prevent you from disobeying. --- -2 CP or 2* to continue past this point --- (-2) Property: I'm In Command Here - No effect of any kind from the Leader Occupation may be used upon you unless you allow it. An effect that you do not allow simply fails; its cost is still expended, unless it is a One Use Ability, in which case the user simply takes the Ability back. (-2) Attack: Bend To My Will (Mind) - The target must follow your commands to the best of his/her ability for the remainder of the current session. However, he/she may expend a point of Mind at any time to act in opposition to your bidding for (his/her Mind attribute) minutes. (-2) Ability: I Will Not Succumb [soul] (No Challenge) - If you lose a defensive Ability challenge, you may activate this Ability (once per challenge) to retry. Any attribute points that were expended the first time are still spent. (-1 per use) One Use: Controlling Interest [one use] (Requires Combat Victory) - When you have defeated someone in combat as a main participant, in addition to any other Attack that you may use, the target must reveal to you what Influence points he/she still has unspent. You may take any of these from him/her that you wish, and use them, as though he/she had transferred them to you; the target recovers Influence as per normal for next session. (-2) Recovery: By My Command - Whenever someone does something that you tell him/her to do, Recover a point of Mind. Once per person per session. (-1 per level) Influence: Willpower (-2) Willpower -> Indomitable Will - You may expend a point of Influence: Willpower to ignore a Mind effect that has been imposed on you for up to one hour per point spent. (3*) Flaw: Unbridled Arrogance - You may never heed the suggestions of your followers for fear of being seen as weak or manipulated.
