Origin: Experimental Cadaver ---------------------------- You have the "Dark", "Dead", and "Victorian" Traits. (0, -1, -2, ...) Property: Strange Residues - Your body has been infused with all manner of experimental substances, which wreak strange effects upon your body and mind. You have a strack of Strange Residues cards, from which you must draw at random every hour on the hour and take the effect indicated. However, as you buy this Property up, you begin to learn how to utilize these chemicals to your advantage, and the effects become less deleterious and more advantageous on average. (-1) Attack: Quaking In Their Boots (Mind) – You’ve developed quite a knack for terror. Your victim must stand stock still, paralyzed with fear, for as long as you continue to focus on him/her. (-1) Ability: Chill Touch [soul] (No Challenge) – Your target loses an attribute point of his/her choice. You may not use this Ability on the same target twice in a row. If your target does not have any attribute points at present, he/she is overcome by a chill for the next minute, and can do little but shiver helplessly. (-1 per use) One Use: Residue Transfer (Requires Touch) – You may activate this Ability to give someone you’ve just touched - Body Combat counts as touch - a random card from your Strange Residues stack. He/she takes the specified Property on as a Body effect until cured. Once per hour maximum. (-1) Recovery: Mending - If you can get someone to tend to and look over your decaying body for a few minutes, you may Recover a point of Body. Once per hour maximum. (-1 per level) Influence: Experimentation (-1) Modifier: Experimentation -> Unforseen Effects - You may expend points of Influence: Experimentation between sessions to influence the type of effect that goes into your Strange Residues stack. These changes are cumulative across sessions, such that it may eventually be possible (with sufficient effort) to custom-tailor a deck for yourself. (1* per level) Flaw: Decay - At level one of this Flaw, you must costume whiteface to represent the unfortunate state of your body. At level two, you are at a –1 penalty in all Social challenges for each level of Decay that you have. At level three, you only receive every other Body Recovery that you would normally get. At level four, you have the "Bloody" Trait and receive only every third Body Recovery. At level five, speak with a GM... it only gets more unpleasant.
