Any effect that would give you the "Dark" Trait simply fails to work on you. However, you may not possess any Origins, Occupations, or Offices that would give you the "Dark" Trait. (-2) Attack: Blinding Radiance (Body) - All of your opponents must roleplay blindness until this effect is healed or one hour has passed. This puts them at a -1 penalty to their total in all subsequent Body challenges, even when they are assisting someone else, though this penalty may not reduce their total in any challenge below zero. (-1) Ability: The Shadow's Edge [soul] (No Challenge) - Ask the target whether he/she has the "Dark" Trait. (-1 per use) One Use: Blessing Of The Sun (Requires Soul Combat If Resisted) - Remove the "Dark" Trait from someone whom you know to have it. This feels like a lightening of his/her heart, a sense of openness and acceptance. If the target resists this, you must succeed in Soul Combat against him/her to Activate this Ability, in which case it takes the place of an Attack. (-1) Recovery: Pockets Of Light - You may use the Recoveries of any Well-Lit Location once per hour instead of once per session. (-1 per level) Influence: Light (-1) Modifier: Light -> Prophetic Visions - You may expend one or more points of Influence: Light between sessions to experience prophetic illuminations by gazing into a source of light (such as an open flame). The intensity, truthfulness, and relevance of these visions may vary, but partially depends upon the amount of Influence spent. (1*) Flaw: Provincial - Having been raised in a tribal culture, you are at certain disadvantages when it comes to the unfamiliar social customs of Victorian society. This Flaw puts you at a -1 penalty in all Social challenges and prevents you from obtaining the "Victorian" Trait.
